Slow Art Day, Denys Kushnarov, and Yuri Boyko: “War and Peace (Ukrainian Voices), April 2 - 14, 2022

A two-person exhibition featuring film, photography, and a message from Ukraine. Filmmaker and Ukrainian TV host Denys Kushnarov resides in war-stricken Kyiv, while Yuri Boyko, a Ukrainian-American artist, lives in Los Angeles. While neither of these two Ukrainian-born artists have ever met, they share a commonality of peace in the face of war. This exhibition is on display at El Nido art space.

Los Angeles Center for Photography (LACP) “Conversations with a Curator” Guest Curator: Victoria Chapman (August 10, 2021) Moderated by Sarah Hadley. Victoria was asked to give a presentation about her art career and answer questions from the audience via Zoom about curatorial aspects and exhibition planning.

GUEST on Calls with CURA | CURA Collection Care and Management. On April 30th, 2021, Victoria was a guest on the podcast “Calls with CURA.” This innovative and intimate series seeks to hear various voices in the arts sector and reveal their stories. Los Angeles-based Liza Shapiro and London-based Georgia Powell interviewed Victoria about her long career in the arts, curating, the beginnings of VC Projects, her work in Italy, and most recently, the Artists in Isolation series, plus personal stories about collecting art.

Victoria was also asked to do an Instagram ‘take-over’ on @cura_art from Friday, April 30th - Monday, May 3rd, 2021, to share past, present, and upcoming projects.
